Members, roles and invitations
The Members page lists the people who can access your organization, their role, their options and their last activity. This is where you invite, change rights and remove someone.

- 6Organization ownership
A role belongs to one organization: you can be Owner in one and Member in another. Roles and rights opens the full table of what each role can do.
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including the subscription, invoices, export, deleting the organization and transferring ownership. There is only one. |
| Admin | Everything except billing, deletion and ownership transfer. An Admin does not appoint Admins and does not change or remove another Admin. |
| Member · all records | Reads and edits every record in the organization. |
| Member · own records | Works on their own contacts, companies, opportunities and tasks. |
| Viewer | Reads records and, depending on your plan, reports and dashboards. No mailbox and no recording. Does not use a seat, within the limit your plan allows. |
| Support | Answers the live chat, nothing else. Uses a Support seat, not a plan seat (see Reply to visitors). |
E-mails and meetings stay private to their owner: an Admin does not read them unless they were shared.
Change a member’s role and options
Section titled “Change a member’s role and options”The menu next to a member’s name changes their role and options:
- Permission profile: applies a permission profile instead of the settings below.
- Automator: the member can publish and run their own workflows.
- Edit the data model: the member can manage the organization’s own fields and objects.
- Revenue visibility: the Stripe amounts the member sees in dashboards and on records: Their own, All or None.
Invite people
Section titled “Invite people”- Click Invite.
- Enter one or more addresses (up to 50), separated by a comma or Enter.
- Choose the role, the record scope and, if needed, Automator.
- Click Send invitation. Each person receives a link valid for 7 days.
Only the Owner invites an Admin. A pending invitation reserves a seat. In Pending invitations, Resend sends a new link (the old one stops working) and Revoke cancels it.
If no seat is free, the window shows how many are missing. The Owner can add them right there (Add seats and invite), prorated until the next invoice; an Admin has to ask the Owner to add them in Subscription.
The Seats card shows the seats used out of your plan’s: active members, then pending invitations that reserve a seat. Viewers do not use one, within the limit your plan allows. Manage seats opens Subscription.
Remove a member
Section titled “Remove a member”Remove from organization, in the member’s menu, first asks for a successor. On confirmation:
- their records, workflows (deactivated, then reassigned), dashboards, and shared e-mails and activities go to the successor;
- their Google or Outlook connection and their API and MCP tokens for this organization are revoked at once;
- their private e-mails and meetings are not transferred;
- their seat is freed at once. The number of billed seats is changed in Subscription.
Their Arcane account is not deleted: they only lose access to this organization.
Transfer ownership
Section titled “Transfer ownership”The Owner cannot leave the organization without handing it over. In Organization ownership:
- Click Transfer ownership and choose an Admin (appoint one first if there is none).
- Type the organization’s name to confirm, then Send the request.
- The new Owner confirms by e-mail within 7 days. Nothing changes until then, and you can Cancel transfer.
Once confirmed, the former Owner becomes an Admin.
