Archive, restore, delete
A record you no longer need can be archived: it leaves the lists but nothing is lost. Deleting it is permanent.

Archive
Section titled “Archive”On the record, click Archive. For several records, tick them in the list then Archive in the selection bar.
An archived record no longer appears in lists, the Kanban, searches or linked-record pickers. Its e-mails, activity and fields are kept, and it is still reachable through its link: a “Record archived on …” banner then shows at the top. Right after archiving a record, Undo in the notification brings it back.
Find and restore
Section titled “Find and restore”In the list’s table view, click Show archived. Archived records come back with the Archived badge, and an Archived column gives the date and the Restore button. On the record itself, the banner also offers Restore.
Delete for good
Section titled “Delete for good”Click the record’s bin, or Delete in a list’s selection bar. The record is deleted for the whole team, with no way back, archived or not.
E-mails stay in the CRM. When you delete a contact or a company from its record, the window also asks what happens to its addresses (deleting several records from a list doesn’t ask):
- Keep suggesting as a contact: nothing changes, the address may come back in suggested contacts.
- Stop suggesting the address, or anyone from its domain, or Pick people from the domain one by one.
A dismissed address is no longer suggested as a contact, neither in suggestions nor by Atlas. Its e-mails keep syncing and being sorted in the Inbox. This choice only applies to your mailboxes, and is undone in Settings › E-mails › Dismissed contacts.
