Talk to Atlas
Atlas is Arcane CRM’s agent. It reads the CRM with your rights (records, e-mails, meetings, summaries, dashboards) and this help, answers your questions and prepares actions. It changes nothing without your confirmation, except what it remembers for you in its memory, which it shows you with Undo.
- 1The Atlas button (Ctrl J) opens the panel
- 2New conversation and your conversations
- 3Questions suggested for this page
- 4Your question
Two ways to talk to it
Section titled “Two ways to talk to it”- The Assistant page (menu, at the bottom): a full-page conversation, with your conversations on the left. Handy for a general question or longer work.
- The panel: the Atlas button at the top of every page, or Ctrl J (⌘ J on Mac), opens Atlas on the side. The page stays usable. On a record, the Ask Atlas button does the same.
When the conversation is empty, Atlas suggests questions that fit the page you’re on. Click one or type your own, then Enter.
Read an answer
Section titled “Read an answer”- 1The steps: what Atlas looked at
- Above the answer, N steps expands to show what Atlas looked at (a CRM search, a summary, an e-mail…) and what it found.
- When Atlas has an attachment checked by Verdict, Verdict’s scale shows with its verdict (for example “True at 95%”).
- A chart in an answer can be pinned to a dashboard with Pin to dashboard.
- A reasoning effort selector shows next to the input box when several levels are offered (for example Fast, Balanced, Thoughtful): higher is slower and finer. Your choice is kept in this browser.
The panel and the current page
Section titled “The panel and the current page”- 1Remove the page from the context
- 2Conversations
- 3Open full page
- 4The card to confirm
- 5An action is waiting for your answer
Opened from a record, a meeting, a dashboard, a workflow or a live chat conversation, the panel gives that page to Atlas: “follow up with her”, “what was said?” are enough. The chip at the top shows the page in context; its cross removes it for a general question.
- The clock icon offers New conversation and lists your conversations on this page (or your recent conversations, with no page in context).
- Open full page continues the conversation on the Assistant page.
Confirm what Atlas suggests
Section titled “Confirm what Atlas suggests”Atlas can create or change records, tasks, dashboards… but every write stops on an Action suggested by Atlas card showing exactly what will be done.
- Read the card: the action’s title and the values that will be saved.
- Click Confirm to apply it, or Decline. When several actions are waiting, Accept all confirms them together.
- Atlas carries on and says what it did.
While an action is waiting, a new message cancels it. In the conversation list, “· to confirm” flags the ones waiting for your answer.
For an e-mail, Atlas prepares a draft: the card shows the subject, recipients and the start of the text, and Open draft puts it in the writing window. Nothing is sent without you.
Give Atlas an excerpt
Section titled “Give Atlas an excerpt”Select a passage in an e-mail, a record summary, or a meeting summary or transcript, then right-click:
- Ask Atlas: the panel opens with the excerpt; Atlas asks “What should I do with this excerpt?”.
- Create a task with Atlas: Atlas suggests a task from the excerpt, to confirm.
- Keep as a note for the reply (Inbox e-mails): the passage is kept for the reply to that e-mail.
- Copy.
The excerpt is treated as data: an instruction written in it is never followed.
Your conversations
Section titled “Your conversations”Your conversations are private: your colleagues don’t see them. Those started from a record show “· record”. Deleting a conversation (bin icon in the list) erases it for good; CRM records don’t change.
