Record lists

Every CRM object has its list: Contacts, Companies, Opportunities, Tasks, and the objects your organisation added. They all sit in the menu, under Objects, and work the same way. One exception: objects created for your organisation alone have a simpler list, without saved views or CSV import.

Hover a number to find the area. Click the screenshot to enlarge it.
The companies list: search, Show archived, the Table or Kanban choice, Group, Filter, columns, Import (CSV), New company, the view bar and the table.
  • The Search field filters the list as you type, across the records’ text fields. The / key puts the cursor there, Esc clears it.
  • Click a column title to sort, a second time to reverse the order.
  • The number next to the page title counts the records shown, after search and filters.

Click New contact, New company… or press C. The window only asks for the essentials: the rest is filled in on the record afterwards. If a record already exists with the same value (for example the same e-mail address), creation is refused to avoid a duplicate.

To create many at once, use Import (CSV) (see Import contacts from a CSV). On the contacts list, the Suggested contacts banner also offers the people you e-mail (see Suggested contacts).

Click a cell to edit it right in the table. Computed or protected fields, like the creation date, stay read-only. Click the name to open the record (see A record in detail).

A small scale next to a value means Verdict filled it in. Hover it to see its certainty and sources.

The Visible columns menu: a checkbox per field, arrows to change the order, and Default columns.

The Visible columns button (the three-column icon) ticks or unticks each field and changes its order. You can also drag a column title to move it. Default columns goes back to the original layout.

Your columns and filters are remembered for you from one visit to the next: your colleagues keep their own.

The selection bar: 2 selected, Edit a field, Transfer, Archive, Delete and Deselect.

Tick rows (Shift + click to tick a whole range), or the header box to tick everything. A bar appears at the bottom of the screen:

  • Edit a field: the same value is applied to every ticked record, or the field is cleared.
  • Transfer: changes the records’ owner (see A record in detail).
  • Archive: the records leave the lists without being deleted (see Archive, restore, delete).
  • Delete: permanent, for the whole team.

The buttons shown depend on your rights on the object.
