Blocks

After the trigger, each block does one thing and passes its result to the next. The editor’s Parameters panel describes every block; here is what they do, grouped as in the palette.

Depending on your plan Editor › palette Every member in a draft
Block What it does
Update a record Updates fields of an existing record, usually pointed to by an expression such as {{ $json.body.recordId }}.
Create a record Creates a record in an object with the given values.
Alert in Today Shows an alert at the top of Today for the person who publishes, the record’s owner or the whole team. “One alert per record” replaces the previous one.
Assign to the next team member Gives the record, in turn, to the team member who received one least recently. Teams: Scale plan.
AI summary of a company Reads the summary of the exchanges with a company, updated with the new e-mails.
Read a dashboard widget Computes a dashboard widget, to compare a threshold or loop over its rows.
E-mail attachments Fetches the attachments of a company, a contact or an e-mail, with their text (scanned PDFs are not read).
Verdict Asks Verdict what a document is (invoice, quote, contract, or a class of the organization), which of your categories a text belongs to (one output per category, plus Other), or whether a claim is true (true, false or uncertain). The flow continues from the chosen output.
Generate a contract Fills in a contract template (text or fillable PDF) and files the PDF on the record, visible to the team.
Send to the lawyer Sends the PDF to your lawyer from your mailbox; their reply can fire the “Lawyer’s reply” trigger.

Blocks that read e-mails, attachments, a summary or a dashboard do so with the rights of the person who publishes the workflow: they only see what that person sees.

Block What it does
Condition Sends the run to True if the conditions are met, otherwise to False; the branch not taken is skipped.
Merge Waits until all its branches are done, then joins them. It is the only way to join two branches.
For each item Repeats the blocks on the Each item output for every item of a list (500 at most), one by one, then continues through Done. Approval, signature, wait, reply to the call, AI agent and nested loops are not allowed inside.
Wait Pauses the run for a given duration, 30 days at most.
Your approval Holds the run until the designated person (the one who publishes the workflow or the record’s owner) approves or rejects. Without an answer within the chosen delay, the flow continues from Rejected or expired.
Reply to the call Sets the reply sent back to the app that started the workflow through an “API call”.
Block What it does
AI call Sends an instruction to a model: summary, writing, extraction.
AI agent Carries out a task using read-only tools plugged into its Tools input (Jira search, HTTP GET request).
Summarize Summarizes a text of the workflow in prose, without inventing anything.
Extract fields Reads the requested values in a text (amount, date, number…), each with its confidence.
Atlas fills in the contract Fills in a fillable PDF template from the record, its e-mails, its meetings and the team’s documents, with the source of each value.
Module Blocks
E-mail Send an e-mail (new message, or reply in a Gmail thread, free text or mail template), Email to all contacts (at most once per 24 h, workflows published by the Owner or an Admin), Read an e-mail thread.
Calendar Read the calendar, Write to the calendar (create or update an event, never a duplicate).
Meetings Record a meeting, Stop the recording, Read a recording’s status, Read the transcript.
E-signature Send for signature: sends a PDF of the record and waits; Signed output, or Not signed if declined, expired or cancelled. See Sending for signature.
Customer chat Reply on the chat (or internal note), Chat announcement, Assign the conversation.
Sequences Enroll in a sequence, Remove from a sequence. See Sequences.

E-mail, Calendar and Meetings blocks act from the accounts of the person who publishes the workflow, or from a shared mailbox they can read.

Block What it does
HTTP request Calls an external API over https (GET or JSON POST), with optional authentication through an “HTTP header” integration. Private or local addresses are refused.
Jira search Reads Jira Cloud tickets with a JQL query, read-only.
Tool: Jira search, Tool: HTTP GET request The same, as tools for an AI agent.

These blocks use the organization’s integrations, reserved for administrators’ workflows.
