Create your account and organisation

To use Arcane CRM, you first create your account (your identity), then an organisation: the workspace shared with your team, where your contacts, companies and opportunities live. Atlas then guides you through three steps, about five minutes.

  1. Open the Create an account tab.
  2. Enter your first name, last name and work e-mail.
  3. Click Send me a sign-in link. An e-mail is sent to you: the link expires after 15 minutes.
  4. Open the link from your mailbox. The Open Gmail and Open Outlook buttons take you straight there. Nothing received? The Resend button becomes active after 30 seconds.
The Create an account form: first name, last name, work e-mail and the Send me a sign-in link button.

You can also use Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft or Continue with Apple when these buttons are shown: they only appear when the matching sign-in is enabled.

  4. 4Create the organisation
The Your organisation form: company name, identifier, country, language, time zone, number of seats and terms acceptance.
  1. Company name: shown at the top left of the app.
  2. Identifier: filled from the name (lowercase letters, digits and hyphens). You can change it.
  3. Country (VAT), language and time zone: suggested from your browser.
  4. How many seats do you expect?: Just me, 2–5, 6–19 or 20 or more. From 20 seats, the screen offers to contact us about the Scale plan.
  5. Tick the acceptance of the Terms, the privacy policy and the data processing agreement (DPA).
  6. Click Create organisation.

You become the owner of the organisation. You can create or join others later and switch between them (see Find your way around).

Once the organisation is created, Atlas walks you through three steps. Each one can be skipped and picked up later.

The Connect your mailbox step with the Connect Google and Connect Outlook buttons, and the What Arcane does with this access box.

Connect your Google account (Gmail and Calendar) or Outlook account (Microsoft 365, e-mail and calendar). This is the step that lets Atlas prepare your meetings and spot unanswered e-mails. Details in Connect Gmail or Outlook.

The Invite your team step: three e-mail and role rows, the Add button and the note about seats included during the trial.

Enter your colleagues’ addresses and pick their role: Admin, Member · all records, Member · own records or Viewer. Each one gets an invitation link valid for 7 days. During the trial, up to 19 seats are included.

This step is only offered to people who can invite (owner or admin).

The Your first data step with three choices: contacts suggested from the mailbox, sample data, CSV import, and the list of correspondents found.

Choose how to fill your CRM:

  • Contacts suggested from your mailbox (recommended when a mailbox is connected): your frequent correspondents, ticked by default. Untick the ones you don’t want, then click Import. Companies are created from the address domains.
  • Sample data: a fictitious company, Studio Lumen (exemple), two contacts and an opportunity, to try things out. They can be removed in one click from the “Getting started” block.
  • Import a CSV file: opens the contact import (see Import contacts (CSV)).

You then land on Today.
